Employee discipline begins with supervision and with the employee/supervisor relationship. In the best-case scenario, it leads to job satisfaction and engagement for both the supervisor and the employee but when a course correction or even termination of employment becomes necessary there are best practices to understand and embrace and missteps to avoid.
