Write Everyday
It is one thing to dream.
It is another thing to do.
Unless and until we do, a dream is a wish, a fantasy, entertainment.
I have dreamed of being a writer since I was eight-year-old, but I have not always maintained the habit of daily writing in all the years.
There are many paths to earning an income from our work.
We could solicit freelance work from publishers listed in the Writer’s Market.
We could apply from writing assignments on the job boards.
We could write books and submit them to publishers, or we could self-publish and cultivate our audience.
Whichever road to success we select, one thing is necessary, and that is that we write.
Hopefully, daily writing is not a chore but a joy.
Whatever you may aspire to be, I hope you love to do it.
If you don’t love it, then, by all means, find the work you do love.
For those of us that have chosen to write, we must write.
Write when you are inspired and when you are not.
Write when you are weary and when you are strong.
Write every day.
Produce the product you need to sell and succeed.
And above all, enjoy the journey.
Much love,
David Dellman
